Dukardo Hinestrosa. El señor Dukardo fué por
alrededor de 30 años la persona =que con la ayuda de su
esposa Lupe y de otros familiares- realizó grandes
festivales colombianos en varios parques grandes de Los
Angeles, California. El ha sido un gran vocero de
Colombia en California. El señor Hinestrosa es también
el fundador de la fundación llamada Círculo Cultural
Colombiano y recientemente escribe libros (el se graduó
en literatura en una universidad americana) y patrocina

Cultural Colombiano A non-profit organizatin founded and directed by Dukardo Hinestrosa. He is the founders of the Colombian festivals in Los Angeles County and of El Colombiano USA newspaper (sold a several years ago). Currently they produce Hispanic books (e.g. Pasaje a Pereira) for sale and they used to hold meetings with the Colombian community. Mr. Dukardo Hinestrosa, a well known writer, produced a book about Pereira named "Pasaje a Pereira" (Passage to Pereira). Pereira is a famous small agricultural town in Colombia, South America. The book is about the old Pereira; it was written in Spanish and is mainly directed to people who want to remember those times. The book was written in a coloquial way, in the traditional manner that people talked those days.
